Sharyn Morrow in 2022

Hello! I’m Sharyn.

I’m an accessibility leader with more than 30 years of experience spanning consulting, design, manual and automated testing, and remediation. My work centers on making digital experiences more usable, inclusive, and less frustrating for the people who rely on them.

I bring deep knowledge of WCAG and industry best practices, combined with empathy, organization, and thoughtful analysis. I care deeply about the human side of technology, how it feels to use, where it creates barriers, and how intentional improvements can create meaningful impact.

In 2022, I earned my IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) and I am preparing for Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification. I am a lifelong learner, a high-energy collaborator, and a late-identified autistic professional with ADHD. Neurodiversity advocacy is central to both my professional and personal mission. I actively promote inclusive environments where different ways of thinking, processing, and communicating are recognized as strengths. My lived experience informs how I approach accessibility, leadership, and collaboration.

My strengths include improving processes and streamlining workflows within Agile environments and across the software development lifecycle. I am skilled at identifying friction points users encounter and partnering with cross-functional design and engineering teams to resolve them. Whether guiding accessibility strategy, supporting product teams, mentoring accessibility champions, or developing training programs, I focus on building cultures of inclusion that extend beyond compliance.

Kindness, accessibility, inclusion, and neurodiversity advocacy guide everything I do.
