Sharyn Morrow in 2022

Hello! I’m Sharyn.

I’m a passionate accessibility evangelist with over eight years of experience in accessibility consulting, design, manual and automated testing, and remediation. I’m a results-driven lifelong learner with a strong knowledge of WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 (and getting to know the newly released WCAG 2.2 success criteria). I am energized by helping others get the most out of digital experiences with minimal frustration using empathy, joy, organization, analysis, and collaboration.

In 2022, I earned my IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) and am studying to take the Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) exam. I am a high-energy lifelong learner and late-identified autistic with ADHD.

Specialties: Organizing chaos with process improvements. Partial to Agile practices for SDLC. Uncovering problems faced by end-users. Working with distributed design and development teams to solve them. End-user support, training, mentoring, content creation and management, accessibility consulting, troubleshooting, defect documentation and tracking, and photography. I am a proponent of collaboration and inclusion, and raising awareness about ableism.
